Fender Stratocaster

This is my new Fender Stratocaster. It's really great sounding; it's got a bridge humbucker. This is my current main guitar and it feels much better than my first guitar. Also, it's more comfortable to play. I am overall satisfied. Check it out here.

Early '60s guitar with amp built into the case!

Check this out! It's not a guitar that I own, but looks real cool and retro. It's a Sears Silvertone Amp-In-Case model that's related to the Danelectro company. This thing's got a 3-watt tube amp built into the case. The amp doesn't seem too good, but I want that guitar!

TheForestersInstruments

Welcome to TheForestersInstruments.com! I, Evan Nork, Lead guitarist of The Foresters review the instruments that our band uses. Today I'll start off with this guitar that I own.

It's a Squier Stratocaster, Fender's cheaper line. I use this as my main electric guitar. It's got all the Strat featers and this bright, distorted tone that our band uses a lot. The finish and the quality are good for this kind of guitar, and it looks, feels, and plays like a real Strat! The Fender Stratocaster is my favorite electric guitar, so this guitar is perfect for my styles of music. The neck is comfortable, as well as the classic Strat body. The whammy bar is not that good, however, because the more you turn it, the farther it locks over time and could strip the bridge socket. The strings were not too good either, but luckily, you can get much better strings for a low price. Even if single coil pick-ups aren't that good for distortion, turn all the knobs up on the SP-10 amp that comes with it and blow the roof off your house! This guitar comes in three finish colors: The classic rock n' roll black and white, a Jimi Hendrix style white on white, and this beautiful sunburst and tortoiseshell pickguard that I like best. It's a good beginners guitar, but I'm thinking of getting something more valuable. Still, if you've dreamed of owning a Strat, start off with this pack! Go to Squierguitars.com to check out some other classic Fenders at a lower price like the Telecaster, Jazzmaster, and Jaguar. They’ve also got the Duo Sonic, a fender guitar that was released in 1956 for beginners. It’s got a short scale for smaller hands and looks cool, so check it out!
